This PICS explains our privacy practices. Please read the following clauses carefully to understand our policy and practices in relation to how your personal data will be treated. This PICS applies to all registered users of our service (“our Service”), and may from time to time be revised, or otherwise changed upon reasonable notice.
The English versions of this PICS shall prevail wherever there is any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions unless otherwise specified.
1. Your Privacy
ECOHOPE INTERNATIONAL HK LIMITED (with Hong Kong Company Registration Number 78366517) ("our Company", "we", "our") respects your legal rights of privacy when collecting, storing, using and transmitting your personal data. It is our policy to comply with the requirements under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486, Laws of Hong Kong). As such, we will ensure that our staff implement the strictest standard of security and confidentiality. By registering for using our Service, you are agreeing and accepting the terms of this PICS, and consent to our collection, use and transfer of your personal data for the purposes and in the manner set out in this PICS. If you do not agree or not accept clauses of this PICS, please do not proceed with your registration for our Service as we may not render our Service to you. In avoidance of doubt, any reference in this PICS to "your personal data" or "personal data" refers to your own personal data.
2. Collection of Personal Data
You confirm that you voluntarily register for using our Service and provide us the true, accurate, and complete personal data marked as mandatory below for us to process your registration. We may not be able to provide you with our Service if you do not provide such mandatory data. Personal data collected by our Company may include, but not limited to:
a. Mandatory data for contact: Username/Nick Name, Email, Phone Number;
b. Mandatory data for providing our Service: address/location for service, service preferences and subscription records;
c. Mandatory data for payment: Payment records (Note: detailed payment data such as credit card numbers are processed directly by compliant third-party payment processors);
d. Mandatory data for statistic and analysis: Gender, Age Group, Day and Month of Birth;
e. Mandatory data for usage of our App or Website: Data generated automatically when you are using our App or website which make you identifiable such as your communication records with customer support; and
f. Non-mandatory data for postal purposes: Postal Address.
The abovementioned personal data will be either provided by you or generated automatically by your use of our App or our website.
3. Purposes of Use of Personal Data
In addition to clause 2 above, we may use and/or handle personal data for any or all of the following purposes:
a. To set up and manage your account and subscription to our Service;
b. To provide the core services (collection, delivery, and payment processing);
c. To communicate with you regarding necessary service matters (service notifications, account updates);
d. To generate, compile, maintain, manage and update our Company’s relevant databases and/or records regarding the above, and to provide usage and/or statistics reports on the same;
e. To register, verify and manage your account at our Company;
f. To process payments and manage your account at our Company;
g. To detect, investigate and/or prevent those acts under your account that may be illegal or violate our Terms & Conditions for using our Service or this PICS;
h. To customize, enhance, maintain, improve or optimize the quality and performance of our App and/or website and/or the relevant services we provide;
i. To use for management, maintenance, support or other administrative purposes of our Company in relation to our provision of the relevant features, functions, products, services and/or matters set out above; and
j. To comply with the relevant legal or regulatory requirements, and/or to facilitate and enable protection and enforcement of rights, interests and/or properties of our Company.
4. Use of Data in Direct Marketing
We shall not use your personal data for direct marketing purposes unless we have received your consent (which includes an indication of no objection). If you do not consent to our use of your personal data for the relevant direct marketing purposes, please tick the corresponding box(es) at the bottom of the registering page of our App. If you do not tick the box(es), you indicate and agree that we may use your personal data for the relevant direct marketing purposes. 5. Disclosure
We will take all reasonable and practicable measures to keep your personal data safe and confidential and we will not share, disclose or transfer your personal data to any data brokers for market research, analytics or profiling purposes. However, we may disclose, transfer or assign your personal data which is necessary in any of the following cases:
a. if we decide to sell any relevant part of the business, to any actual or proposed assignee, transferee or successor;
b. any agent, advisor, auditor, consultant, contractor and/or third party service provider who provides advisory, consultancy, administrative, telecommunications, publicity, advertising, customer services assistance and support, technology, payment, fraud prevention, insurance, data processing and/or other services to our Company for, in connection with or with respect to the operation of our relevant businesses and/or who otherwise processes personal data for and on our behalf;
c. we may transfer your personal data outside Hong Kong to our third party service providers for storage of such personal data. You must consent to such transfer of your personal data outside Hong Kong before we will process your registration; and
d. any person to whom our Company is under legal obligation or any guidelines or codes of practice issued by regulatory or other authorities for our Company to comply with.

Where personal data is stored electronically, it will be kept on secure servers. Except as mentioned in clause 5 above, your personal data, regardless of the means of storage, will be accessed only by our employees and/or contractors who are authorised to do so. Employees and contractors designated to handle personal data will be instructed to do so only in accordance with this PICS.
7. Retention of Data
We will retain your personal data for such a period as necessary for fulfilling the purpose of the data collected. Personal Data that is no longer required for such purpose will be destroyed or anonymised as soon as practicable, unless their retention is required to satisfy any applicable legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect our Company’s interests.

It is your right to request for accessing and/or correcting your personal data under our record. You may also request us to unsubscribe you from any email distribution lists.
